Christmas day 2013.

Things seem to stall on Christmas Day. The routines fade, and the special events take over. The family parties ….. the lunches, dinners, suppers, and the giving of presents which have been long planned and thought so carefully about. Fun is had, hopefully by all, without disruption due to tragedy, illness, or unforeseen blows which can disrupt or even destroy the fragile temporary levity.

If all goes well we have fun, we laugh, we share good things, and we feel grateful for the positives in our lives. We also lose a bit of momentum in routine stuff, but that’s okay – we can pick it all up again the next day or so…. and there’s always the New Year’s Resolutions to fall back on.

This post, there fore is a touch different. A little late, but still about Christmas Day. Images of the dog beach on the day – and images of Sorrento Beach. All showing Christmas the way West Australians like it. ImageImageImageImage
