“Image Daily” seems to have missed a post. This is because we went to the annual “Conquer Cystic Fibrosis Ball” on Saturday night. Sunday seems to have disappeared totally. I will make up for it over the next few posts.
In the meantime, for those who do not know much about Cystic Fibrosis I urge you to find out and help where you can . Cystic Fibrosis is one of the most widespread and devastating diseases affecting so many young people around the world. There is no cure, and the life expectancy of a baby born with this genetic problem is currently only averaging 37. A cure – or a better way of managing this thing can only be found through research. The WA annual ball has raised over a million Aussie dollars in recent years and grows grander every year. This years was so brilliant – rapidly becoming the highlight of the WA social calender.
Research is the way forward and hope for young people be able to lead a full and extended life depends on it. We try to do our part – and have a great time in the process!
